That amazing shine is purely from waxing with a strong right arm! The table has served us extremely well over the last thirty-five years! It has been a pleasure to have owned it as part of our kitchen furnishings. I felt the time had come to replace it with our oval, antique gate-leg table, which is a bit smaller.

We have been furnishing a tiny flat and needed a small chest of drawers for a tight area. We found Bob on the internet and were pleased he had a piece that suited our exact specification.We ordered one to arrive in early January and it came in on time.
To say we are delighted with it seems an understatement. We are thrilled with the the good old fashioned quality of it, it makes chain store furniture look shoddy in comparison. The price is very reasonable for this level of quality of service.

Back in 2002, the first piece of furniture we bought from you was a very solid pine table, custom made to fit the space available in our kitchen. The table is still in perfect condition and my wife and I still love it.
When I gave you my plans in 2011 for a made-to-measure computer table, with a specialised drawer design and a hidden area for attaching multiple power sockets, I could only imagine the final result. I was delighted to find that it looked very smart and it was a relief to find that my specified dimensions were just right for the purpose. As I had hoped, it was a much better solution than the old Victorian drop-leaf table I had used for several years. I was very grateful for the time you took to help me finalise the design and turn the concept into reality.
In due course, I hope to present you with plans for both a printer stand and a kitchen sideboard and thus continue the process of 'Frouding' our house! Your combination of quality, service and reasonable prices means that we have no need to look elsewhere.

We were looking for a three drawer, three door pine dresser for our kitchen and a friend recommended Robert Froud. When we visited his workshop he had several dressers and other finished pieces of furniture on display to show us for ideas about design and detailing. He was very approachable and friendly and open to our own ideas about some of the details. He was very patient when we then came back to him a couple of days later to ask for some small changes to the detailing. The finished product was completed on time, to a good standard at a reasonable price. We are very pleased with our new dresser and would recommend Robert to our friends.

We purchased a pine kitchen table from Robert in 2009 and it is still a great piece of furniture! I think it is far better to have something that is a one-off than any generic pine table that you can buy from a shop. We specified the exact width and length and had an extra drawer at one end so it has continued to fit with our growing family. The quality was clear on its delivery and it is still looking good. I can thoroughly recommend Robert’s workmanship.
